Versilia Nightlife
Versilia has always been considered the temple of nightlife in Tuscany. Starting in the ’50s and’ 60s and during the economic boom of the 70s and 80s and still with the birth of house music to the present day, the premises of the Versilia coast remained an unparalleled point of reference that never disappoint young tourists.
The nightlife in Versilia starts by several local for the appetizer spread between Viareggio, Lido di Camaiore and Forte dei Marmi. They are very stylish and elegant lounge bar where you can grab a snack before moving in restaurants or discos of the coast.
Between Marina di Pietrasanta and Forte dei Marmi are a few of the most famous dance clubs that have given rise to the myth of the nightlife in Versilia as the Capannina di Franceschi and La Bussola. Here have performed world famous artists as Mina de André, Mia Martini, Ray Charles and Ella Fitzgerald. Even today you can meet VIPs, celebrities and famous deejays.
Next to these historical clubs are arising more modern discos equally appreciated by the audience, where you can dance on the beach or poolside.
During the summer season they are then organized numerous concerts, DJ sets, parties on the beach and in the beach resorts. Almost every evening on the promenade there is music or improvised shows of street artists who transform the coastline into an open air theater.
