Spend Easter in Versilia means enchanting sunsets over the sea, traditional cuisine and peace of mind. Two days without any stress of the city that will allow you to discover the beautiful Versilia coast with calm and serenity.

Viareggio is the ideal base to spend the Easter weekend in Versilia and it deserves at least a day of attention. Among the major cities of the territory, Viareggio is famous worldwide for its carnival but not only: on the promenade are placed wonderful old buildings in Art Nouveau style, shops and traditional restaurants where is cooked the catch of the day. Then you cannot miss a visit to Villa Puccini in Torre del Lago, the well-known Italian composer loved to spend time here while working at his operas.

The second day you can move up the coast through Lido di Camaiore until arrive to Pietrasanta, the little “Athens of Versilia”. The city boasts an elegant historic center of ancient origin in which are placed many art galleries and marble workshops, boutiques, restaurants and wine shops. Just to the north is also Forte dei Marmi, luxury shopping center in Versilia.

On the seafront between Pietrasanta and Forte are also the most famous night clubs of Versilia as Bussola and Twiga which often host famous personalities of music and entertainment industry.
